Hi, I’m Dori! As a child growing up in Indiana, my grandmother was a Real Estate Broker (first female Broker in her county) long before women business owners became the norm. As a teen, I spent many Sunday afternoons walking through open houses with my mother, fantasizing about the day I would be able to purchase my own home for my family. Real Estate is truly in my blood. Buying a home and owning a piece of the American dream were very important to me as I moved through my childhood and into adulthood. At age 22, I flipped my first house and thus began my love affair with real estate.

I have lived in the Madison area since 2009 and I am very ingrained in the community, schools, and civic organizations. Shortly after relocating to this new community, I was clamoring for resources that could help guide my choices of neighborhoods, schools, and lifestyle, as well as help me balance the needs of my two young children along with my “wants” and dreams for the future. Today, my family is thriving in Middleton. We love to boat, fish, camp and spend time together on the gorgeous landscapes south-central Wisconsin offers.

Through the years since young adulthood, I have purchased and sold several of my own homes in addition to helping friends and acquaintances reach that milestone. Over the past 20 years, I managed to juggle a full-time career in medical sales and non-profit development while keeping my “foot” in the real estate industry. Needless to say, my love affair for real estate has continued to blossom over the years, and I have finally found my second "home" as an agent at Terra Firma Realty!

Whether I am helping people downsize for retirement, helping a young couple find their first nest, or locating a family’s second home for vacation/recreation, I have truly loved guiding each client through this important, challenging, and often emotional process.
