Lake Waubesa is another gem of a lake located in Madison, WI. It sits just south of the city and has access through Lake Monona to Lake Mendota. This large lake has something for everyone. Some of the species that can be found in Waubesa include Bluegill, Lake Sturgeon, Largemouth Bass, Muskellunge, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Tiger Muskellunge, and Walleye.
