The January real estate market is showing a positive upswing. Mike Coke, from Terra Firma Realty - Mike Coke Team, reports single-family homes in Dane county had a median sold price of $430,000.00 and the average days on market was only 13 days. Dane county single-family homes are selling very quickly. Of those homes that sold in January 24% of those homes had multiple offers submitted.
When reviewing the Dane county condos we find it is a more affordable option, but still competitive. Dane county condo sales have a median sales price of $270,000.00, with average days on the market of 12 days. The condo market is slightly more competitive as 35% of the condo market received multiple offers once on market.
Shifting gears take a look, specifically, at the DeForest/Windsor Market. It is reported that this is a higher price point community than the rest of Dane county. The median sold price for single-family homes is $515,000.00 with average days on the market of 13days. Only 14% of the homes had multiple offers.
The condo market in DeForest/Windsor has a median sold price of $480,000.00 with average days on the market of 17 days. It was also found that the DeForest/Windsor condos had no competing offers.
